Just under 50 km east of Vienna, a little outside the handsome medieval town of Hainburg, lies Golf Club Hainburg. Part of the 18-hole course is embedded in the Danube wetlands, while the remainder runs in terraces along the slopes of the Braunsberg. Thanks to the mild Pannonian climate the course is playable almost all year round. The Danube wetlands provide unique marshland habitats, while the Braunsberg slopes are designated dry grassland. Conscious of its position right beside a nature reserve, the club actively protects the local flora and fauna through gentle course maintenance. This exceptional setting makes every round a special encounter with nature.

I can't comment on the golf course itself as I only ate in the restaurant. However, I was very impressed with it. The food was prepared quickly and tasted delicious.
